"The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry."
~ Ernest Hemingway, A Farewell To Arms

"Our lives disconnect and reconnect, we move on, and later we may touch one another, again bounce away. This is the felt shape of a human life, neither simply linear nor wholly disjunctive nor endlessly bifurcating, but rather this bouncey sequence of bumping into's and tumblings apart."
~ Salman Rushdie, The Ground Beneath Her Feet

A Divine Milieu Re-Post...U2 - Where The Streets Have No Name...

“I see that rain cloud disappearing without a trace… but I can dance, dance, dance in the dirty rain…where the streets have no name…”~ Bono

Today, I have been reminded by a friend of the dance, to dance, regardless of what life may throw at you or you may throw at yourself…dance. Whether it be a waltz as that is all that is left in you or a Salsa with all the life bursting forth from you – either way, both are dances, so dance with the rhythm your heart is beating out for your soul and in “so doing” be alive to all the possibilities around you.

“Except for the point, the still point,
There would be no dance, and there is only the dance.”
~T.S. Eliot, from Burnt Norton
