"The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry."
~ Ernest Hemingway, A Farewell To Arms

"Our lives disconnect and reconnect, we move on, and later we may touch one another, again bounce away. This is the felt shape of a human life, neither simply linear nor wholly disjunctive nor endlessly bifurcating, but rather this bouncey sequence of bumping into's and tumblings apart."
~ Salman Rushdie, The Ground Beneath Her Feet

Bewitched...

“…don't let people bring you to heel, you won't be able to call your soul your own...when we allow ourselves to be bewitched by someone, we grow cold inside....dealing with our pain is our only hope of coming out clean on the other side, if we numb it, it waits for us & ambushes us, we have to keep moving through it, feeling it.”

  1. Sometimes we have a lifetime of Blind acquiscence and sometimes we are Blind to
the true measure of idiosyncrasy in our past.

"Some of us don't want to escape the prison we are in. We don't want to walk through the door that HE is opening for us to get out. Maybe
thats because we don't see it as a prison."

HE restores our soul, our slate has been wiped
    clean.
