"The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry."
~ Ernest Hemingway, A Farewell To Arms

"Our lives disconnect and reconnect, we move on, and later we may touch one another, again bounce away. This is the felt shape of a human life, neither simply linear nor wholly disjunctive nor endlessly bifurcating, but rather this bouncey sequence of bumping into's and tumblings apart."
~ Salman Rushdie, The Ground Beneath Her Feet

Grace...

Grace…

In the liminal space,
In the upside down disorienting vertigo of the soul,
In the space between black and white,
In the grayness of living,
In sin, darkness and bifurcation of being,
In unknowing, ambiguity and dislocation,
In misunderstanding, anger and anxiety,
Grace…
All is grace…
All is a gift…
Grace.

  1. He is there for us in a gentle whisper..a still small voice, the sound of sheer silence.
He loves us out of His goodness, not because of our performance, yes, His grace is a gift to all of us.
Be still. Listen to the gentle whisper of God, Be at peace knowing that God loves you and all of us and will take care of us......something I read.
