"The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry."
~ Ernest Hemingway, A Farewell To Arms

"Our lives disconnect and reconnect, we move on, and later we may touch one another, again bounce away. This is the felt shape of a human life, neither simply linear nor wholly disjunctive nor endlessly bifurcating, but rather this bouncey sequence of bumping into's and tumblings apart."
~ Salman Rushdie, The Ground Beneath Her Feet

The End...

“Desperately in need of some stranger's hand
In a desperate land
Lost in a Roman wilderness of pain…”
~ The Doors

(The Doors ~ The End)

Faceless death in dreams stares at me

Voices play in my head
I hear what is said but not who is speaking

I no longer want to know the messiness of life
I no longer want to think
I no longer want to feel
There are no words left…

I swim in the river of not feeling and closing my eyes
I sink into the silt of death
On the bottom of unknowing

One bullet
One pull of the trigger

One life extinguished
The end…

(Mark Rothko Paintings)

  1. No one enjoys being rejected, ignored, disappointed or pushed aside. But when someone you care about does this to you,it a wake up call that forces you to look inside yourself. You actually become a better person. As a result, you look for a better partner and become a better partner yourself. I know you are in pain right now and you may not believe this but many people have lost a love, only to discover a greater love than the one they lost. Your past relationships prepare you for your future relationships if you allow yourself to learn from them. There is no substiture for time and in time you will open your heart again.
"You have to hurt before you heal, There is to way to take the pain away. You must go through the healing process to come out whole."
